As a Court Reporter for 25 years, Vinda came across a good number of real estate. But a case doesn't go to court unless something had turned sour somewhere along the line. As she sat taking the record, a familiar theme started coming through. Nearly everything had been done right BUT, why hadn't someone investigated a little more? Why hadn't someone disclosed everything completely accurately? Why hadn't someone followed through better?
Most people know real estate basics, whether buying or selling, but it's the little things that make a difference. It's investigating a little more, analyzing more thoroughly, working a little harder, being willing to take that extra step that makes the difference.
When Vinda and her family moved to Montana early in 1993, she needed a career change and real estate had always interested her. She decided to become a Realtor, but it wasn't just a job. She first sat down and analyzed what kind of Realtor she wanted to be. It was easy. She wanted to be the kind of Realtor she would like working for her.
What did that consist of?
That is exactly the kind of Realtor Vinda became.
After several years, Vinda's husband, Larry, joined her and they became known as "The Bitterroot Team."
During Larry's 15 years, he was extremely active in the Montana Association of Realtors as well as the local association. He sat on the Board of Realty Regulations for 8 years. His health was starting to decline though so three years ago, their youngest daughter, Michelle, joined them - a family affair!
Larry passed away in May of 2016 but Vinda and Michelle continued the Bitterroot Team. Because of the vast resources and recognition of the Exit Realty franchise, they decided to join them in the end of 2016. It's proving to be a good move and they must be doing something right! Approximately 60 percent of their business is repeat or referral customers. That's the statistic of which Vinda is the proudest.
